The MECA3D Innovation Technical Center is made up of 3 technology transfer teams and the MIP2 Engineering Center - Industrial Product Process Management of the Mechanical Engineering Department of INSA Lyon.

R&D AREAS

Digitization control: the available metrology and 3D scanning means enable the realization of services, expertise and continuing education.
Support to obtain COFRAC accreditation (3D control) is possible on request.
Mechanical design and manufacturing: milling and turning equipment with C-axis available for machining parts of simple or complex shape in 4 axes and 5 continuous axes. The boilermaking workshop allows the realization of welded assemblies.
Additive manufacturing and 3D printing.

DESIGN, MANUFACTURING AND 3D PRINTING:

Support in your design projects for special machines, test benches or new mechanical products
Realization of digital mock-up as well as of the manufacturing file with the taking into account of the industrialization of the products
Realization of mechanical prototypes (machining, metal construction ...)
Dimensioning, validation of systems by simulation
