INSAVALOR is the direct contact on these matters for both INSA Lyon researchers and industrial partners, in particular for patents, softwares and trademarks.
INSAVALOR collaborates closely with the SATT Pulsalys, for the transfer of technologies stemming from INSA Lyon labs.

Technology fostering new urban practices
INSA Lyon, through INSAVALOR, co-applied for a patent with the Lyon start-up ADDBIKE. This patent has been extended worldwide.
The innovation allows to transform in a few minutes only any urban bike or mountain bike into a compact and handy tricycle cargo bike. Since it has been launched the enterprise has been supported by one of INSA Lyon’s technology platforms for the conception of its prototypes.
Ionic liquids for the improvement of material performance
Ionic liquids allow to develop high performance materials and also represent an excellent alternative as “green” agents.
The IMP laboratory (Polymer Material Engineering) received Insavalor’s support to apply for three patents, which can be applied in various sectors: transport, adhesives, packaging, agriculture…
